As a musician, The Montrose Saloon is a rare treat. An absolutely wonderful place to play music and also to go hear great bands as well. It’s small, intimate and has the kind of hangout vibe that makes you feel Instantly at home. The owner, Eric Chial is an excellent musician in his own right, so he knows what bands want in a venue they play and he also has a great sense of what the customer wants as well. Love this joint!

Where do I start? Eric booking and great bartenders..it’s a musician’s kind of place. For everyone else, it’s the happening place to be. You’ll hate yourself if you don’t go!

I'm always the oldest and quietest person sitting in any bar I might be sitting in. So I don't go to too many. But I like this place so much!. A sweet cover of only $5. As a typical woman, I let the owner, David Putman, know that it has the cleanest and brightest ladies room than in any bar I've ever been in. I go for the bands, which are brought in, I understand, by the talented Eric Chial. Mostly bands I know well. And these musicians draw the greatest fans and friends, so it's always a fun night for me. The ladies tending bar are swift at hearing, swift at serving, and pleasant as could be. So I rate it Excellent. :)
